New Premium version of Profitbase Financial Reporting Matrix!
In 2019, we released Financial Reporting Matrix to the Power BI community. At the time, it was not possible to do proper financial reporting in Power BI. Being a Power BI + DAX superhero could provide some of the basic numbers, but you would still not be close to what you could do in Excel. The visual made it possible to finally create financial reports that could match their Excel counterparts with conditional formatting, subtotals, custom calculations and much more.

The feedback we have received from the Power BI community since the initial release has been overwhelmingly positive! So far, the visual has been downloaded more than 40 000 times – that’s about 110 times a day and shows how important proper financial reporting is for the Power BI community! Developers can create reports more effectively and end users get the result they expect after years of being used to Excel and other reporting tools. Over the last year, we have received a ton of positive feedback from all over the world and quite a few feature requests. We have taken that feedback and added a lot of new features to version 3, which includes both a Premium tier and a free tier.
