About Småkraft
Småkraft was established in 2002 and is the largest operator of small-scale hydropower plants in Norway. The hydropower producer operates more than 136 power plants nationwide, generating an annual output of over 1,4 TWh. At the same time, the company is gearing up growth, managing manages every aspect of the power plant’s operation. With different offices around Norway, Småkraft currently has employees who work closely with more than 700 proprietors. The small rivers and streams where power plants are located on are owned by local landowners.
